As the FIM Research Institute for Information Management, we synergistically bundle the competences of the participating chairs and professorships along application domains, methodological areas and technologies.
Our research approach is characterised by a socio-technical perspective on the responsible use of digitalisation for individuals, the economy and society. Accordingly, we understand organisations as human-task-technology systems, consider the levels of the enterprise architecture from the business model to the infrastructure in an integrated way and think in terms of value creation networks.
