In the event of a recorrection, the examination performance is re-evaluated in its entirety. In this case, the grade can change either positively or negatively. A request for a recorrection can only be granted in justified cases.
Justified cases are:
- incorrectly added total score
- sub-task not corrected
- wrong correction in terms of content
The request for a recorrection must be substantiated in written form in a concrete and comprehensible manner. A general criticism of the correction is not sufficient as a reason for a request for recorrection. Furthermore, a criticism of the points/grades key is also not permissible as a justification.
Therefore, the following points must be considered in the justification:
- Which task/part of the task is concerned?
- What exactly is to be corrected?
- Indication of a sample solution with reference!
References to the examinations of other participants or a supposedly unfair evaluation are not sufficient.
If you wish to request a recorrection, please send an email to email@example.com within a period of 14 days after the viewing.
Recorrection requests received after this date will not be accepted!
The mail has to include:
- student number
- justification of request
Please understand that the processing of an request can take several weeks. We therefore ask you to refrain from making any inquiries. You will be informed by us as soon as the correction has been made at the e-mail address you provided in your request.
Please also note that only requests for corrections in the area of Business & Information Systems Enhineering will be processed by us. For all other areas, please contact the respective chairs or professorships.
