New master‘s course on "Knowledge-intensive Process"
Visiting Professor Flávia Santoro will teach a new masters course on "Knowledge-intensive Process" (KiP) this summer. The course will cover the theoretical basis of a KiP, the modelling and discovery of a KiP, a case study, and ethical concerns.
Professor Santoro, who is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE-UFRJ). Her research focuses on Information Systems, including Business Process Management, Knowledge Management, Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, and Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning.
The course will take place on July 12th, 13th, 20th, and 21st, with morning and early afternoon sessions. The exam will consist of a home assignment and presentation. Please find the details here: Link PDF
